Our mission at New Life Fellowship is to preach the true gospel of Jesus Christ, to preach repentance and remission of sins, to help all understand what it means to be born again and to go forth and make disciples.
The passion for this mission is precipitated by the power and love of God. Our love for God and our love for our neighbor have created within us a desire to pursue all that God has set forth in the Scriptures. We know and believe that love will cover a multitude of sins and that godly love never fails.
"Love never fails..." 1 Corinthians 13:8
Jesus demonstrated His great love for us by being crucified on a cross. Now we are indebted to Him forever to testify of that great love.
To Glorify the Lord Jesus Christ
This website is dedicated to glorifying God the Father and our Lord Jesus Christ. We thank the Lord Jesus for giving us the privilege, blessing and opportunity to share His great word and life with all who come to the New Life in Christ website.
"Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, let not the mighty man glory in his might, let not the rich man glory in his riches; but let him who glories glory in this, that he understands and knows Me; that I am the Lord, exercising lovingkindness, judgement and righteousness in the earth. For in these I delight, says the Lord." Jeremiah 9:23,24
"For from the rising of the sun, even to its going down, My name shall be great among the Gentiles; in every place incense shall be offered to my name and a pure offering; for My name shall be great among the nations, says the Lord of hosts." Malachi 1:11
To preach the True Gospel of Jesus Christ
We want to inform as many as we can about the truth of the gospel of Jesus Christ. All, every person on the planet, must hear the gospel and decide whether they want to believe it and live it out as a disciple of Jesus Christ, or reject it and one day face Almighty God. The New Life in Christ website is all about sharing this great truth and giving you the chance to decide what you will do.
"For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received; that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures, ..." 1 Corinthians 15:3,4
"And this gospel will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come." Matthew 24:14
To preach the truth about Repentance and Remission of Sins
Jesus told us that because of the gospel ("for the Christ to suffer and to rise again the third day"), we must go forth and preach repentance and remission of sins. This site is dedicated to the preaching and teaching of true repentance and remission of sins as commanded by the Lord Jesus Christ.
"Then He said to them, 'Thus it is written, and thus it was necessary for the Christ to suffer and rise from the dead the third day, and that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in His name to all the nations, beginning at Jerusalem.' " Luke 24:46,47
"For if I preach the gospel, I have nothing to boast of, for necessity is laid upon me; yes, woe is me if I do not preach the gospel!" 1 Corinthians 9:16
To help all understand what it means to be Born Again
ARE YOU BORN AGAIN? This is a vitally important question because Jesus said we must be born again to see and enter the kingdom of God. Jesus is saying that to be born again is the only true way to become a child of God. Being born again is the plan, to convert us into children of God, that Jesus authored through His death on the cross. Because of its importance, we must come to the truth about what it means to be born again so we can pursue it; without it we cannot enter into God's kingdom. The New Life in Christ website is committed to teaching the truth about what it means to be born again.
"Jesus answered and said to him 'Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.' " John 3:3
"Jesus answered, 'Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God' " John 3:5
To go forth and make Disciples
The Lord Jesus commanded us to make disciples. Discipleship is an ongoing requirement for born again believers in Christ. It is not our aim to disciple people through this website, as we believe true biblical discipleship is a daily gathering of saints, stirring up one another in love and good works. In addition, we believe that the saints should gather as much as possible to help edify, encourage and strengthen one another through the gifts given by the Holy Spirit.
"Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age. Amen!" Matthew 28;19,20
"And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much more as you see the Day approaching." Hebrews 10:24,25
The making of disciples is a life-long commitment for both those being discipled and for those called by God to disciple. Once someone repents and believes the gospel, is baptized in Jesus' name and received the gift of the Holy Spirit, they must continue their walk in biblical discipleship. In order for a disciple of Christ to mature and grown in the things of the Lord , they must be grounded.
We are committed to bringing forth the understanding of being grounded, but we implore and encourage you to pray asking the Lord to put you with other believers who are likeminded in Christ, and that His whole council would be preached and taught so that you may become a disciple of Jesus Christ.
